Back at it

This was my first sewing project in years. It took me a few months to finish but it was worth it. As usual I had no pattern. I just fell in love with some fabric and a picture popped in my head of what it was supposed to be. It was my first time "squaring" blocks and what a complete PAIN it was. I literally dreaded doing it but I knew in order to get the best result I had to suffer through it. I started out cutting and pinning in my laundry room while sewing in our bonus room. The bonus room has slowly now become my sewing room and I no longer keep company with the washer and dryer! Don't freak out if you notice the g u n. It's a bb gun, not an AK 47. ;) We DO live in the country! This turned out to be one of my all time ever favorite projects and I decided to keep it for our home.
